To understand the applicability of restricted feeding in the fingerlings of the Indian major carp. rohu, Labeo rohita, an 60-day feeding experiment was conducted in the laboratory involving alternate day feeding of high and low protein diet, respectively. To support this experiment three experimental isocaloric (401.32 to 410.28 kcal/100g) diets of 30%, 25% and 20% crude protein designated as diet A, diet B and diet C, respectively were prepared, using locally available feed ingredients and three different feeding schedules of high protein diet continuously (diet A-30%). alternate feeding of 1-day diet A followed by 1-day diet B (lA/1B) and alternate feeding of 1-day diet A followed by 1-day diet C (lA/IC) were tested. Overall digestive enzymes activity was reported to be higher in the group fed A/1B) and the lowest was recorded in the group T2 fed A/C but histological there is no significant difference is observed.

Aluminium ions exert their effect primarily on the root systems and decreased shoot growth is believed to be a later occurring effect. However, the effects on the aerial parts are not well documented. In our attempt to find a visible marked change of characters, an oil-yielding plant,Brassica juncea was grown in Al-applied soil (100-1000 µg g-1) at 4.5-5.0 pH. The aerial symptoms included inter alia purple patches in leaf margins, panicle collapse, but of interest was a change in colour of flowers from yellow to white in a few plants. Seeds produced by the white flowers were sown in the next generation and the results have been discussed.

Playing around with Autodesk 123D Catch - Here is a model which I made recently from 37 photos of a "Tattoo tin" As you can see it is not perfect. The mesh settings are set to low quality for a quicker export. Around the bottom of the tin is where I cut the background away, the jagged edges are caused due to the large mesh cutting in to the 'wanted geometry'. The weights of certain skull bones (mandible, maxilla, frontal, parietal, temporal, zygomatic and palatine) giving attachment to muscles of mastication have been studied in six young dogs. The weights are unequal on the two sides. On the basis of difference between the right and left total bone weights, and the number of individual bones heavier on a particular side, one side can be said to be dominant in four out of six animals studied. The left side is far more frequently dominant than the right side.
